LTC Keith Gramig served on active duty in the United States Army for 25 years until his retirement in 2010. An Eastern Kentucky University graduate earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, he was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the infantry in 1985. During his military career he earned the Airborne Air Assault, Ranger tabs and Expert Infantry Badge. His service included various locations thoughout the continental United States as well as Hawaii, Alaska and various locations outside the US to include Japan, Korea, Australia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations in the Middle East.
LTC Gramig has been decorated with various service awards which include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star; seven Meritorious Service Medals; the Joint Army Commendation Medal; the Iraqi Campaign Medal; Global War on Terrorism Medal; and the Korean Defense Service Medal. LTC Gramig, a Louisville native, is married to the former MaryAnn Morris originally of Jeremiah, Kentucky. They have three children- Kyle, John Paul, and Annemarie. LTC Gramig is proud to make Shelby County his permanent home. |
Master Sergeant Alvin C. Bethea Sr. entered the Army in 1976 and retired in 2006. He holds an Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Technology. His military education includes the First Sergeant Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Tow/Dragon Repairer Course, Helicopter Repairer Course, and the Ammunition Specialist Course.
MSG Bethea has served in position from Squad Leader to First Sergeant. His service included various locations throughout the continental United States. He also served tours in Germany, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq. His awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal 3rd Oak Leaf Custer, Army Commendation Medal 4th Oak Leaf Custer, Joint Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal 2nd Oak Leaf Custer, Good Conduct Medal, 5th Award, Parachutist Badge, Egyptian Parachute Badge, Aircraft Crewmember Badge, Combat Action Badge. Master Sergeant Bethea and his wife, Sherrie, have four children: Alvin Jr., Doug, Mahoganee, and Ebonee. |
